3rd International Congress on Rural Health in Mediterranean and Balkan Countries
The Congress' theme will be “From Transition to Sustainable Development: Healthy Farmers producing Healthy Food in a Healthy Environment”.

The event will be of the paramount importance for the whole network on Rural Health, and in particular for the Mediterranean and Balkan area, since the all the key topic related with transition to sustainable development in this area of the world will be raised and discussed by scientists of different disciplines together with public Health Personnel and stakeholders.

Symposium on “Disturbances of cerebral function induced by food&water contaminants"
The International Symposium on Disturbances of Cerebral Function Induced by Food and Water Contaminants will be held in Valencia, Spain on March 23-24, 2010. The main objective of this Symposium is to facilitate the exchange of information and the interaction and collaboration between researchers participating in research dealing with the neurotoxic and neurodevelopmental effects of food and water contaminants.

The speakers will include leading representatives from the European Commission research program, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), and outstanding researchers from different countries.

HiWATE conference 22-24 February 2010
HiWATE - Health Impacts of Long-Term Exposure to Disinfection By-Products in Drinking Water is holding its annual conference and an open day from 22-24 February 2010 in London.

The HiWATE Open Day aims to give an overview of the current state of disinfection by-product research and the main findings of the EU-funded HiWATE project.

Call for expression of interest in organizing satellite events, exhibitions, poster presentations at the Fifth Ministerial Conference on Environment and Health

The Conference provides an opportunity to share information, disseminate knowledge and highlight experience in addressing environmental health challenges in the European Region through exhibitions, posters and satellite events (e.g. workshops, symposia) that will take place in parallel to the Conference sessions.
